Description
This course is designed for new and old employees, volunteers and anyone interested in learning how to reduce and respond to workplace violence & harassment.
For employees and volunteers, this short course offers an orientation or refresher on mandatory workplace violence & harassment training legislatively required in most Canadian provinces and territories, and, or required by workers in certain industries. While the legal context of this course focues on Canadian law, all of the planning, procedures and guidelines are universally applicable and will help keep you and your workers safe no matter where in the world you are.
For those interested in entering the workforce, this course will give you the workplace violence & harassment training you need to be safe on the job, and if placed on your resume could indicate your job readiness giving you additional points towards being hired.
At the end of this course there will be a test requiring a passing grade of 80%. Upon successfully passing the test you will be able to immediately print out and save a digital copy of your certificate of completion for Workplace Violence & Harassment Training. This certificate is your proof and official record of training, and is acceptable proof of training across Canada.

Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this course. The only requirement is a time commitment of approximately one hour to view the course videos, read the course notes and take the exam. This course is designed for anyone with little or no knowledge of the subject and is also suitable for those wishing a refresher course.
How Can I Learn This in 60 Minutes?
We believe everyone should have access to, and be trained in how to work safely. However, many health & safety training programs are more like long drawn out marathons of staying focused, or a commitment of at least a half a day plus commute for many students. While there are some health & safety subjects that definitely need a half day or more to really understand and cover the required material, we have focused on the less complex subjects. We have stripped away the fluff and created direct, and to the point video lessons, with a downloadbable course notes guide. By presenting only the facts, straight and simple, we offer you the ability to master this course in 60 minutes. However, you must do your part by viewing all the videos (28 minutes), downloading and reading the course notes (20 minutes), and passing the exam (12 minutes) with a score of 80%.
